Pumpkin Spiced Flapjacks

Autumns here and I’m sooo ready to embrace every aspect of it. Frosty mornings, crunchy leaves, snuggling on the sofa and most importantly baking! 

Last weekend I whipped up some pumpkin spiced flapjacks because they’re essential and I couldn’t miss out of the PS hype. Safe to say they’re delicious and I want to share my recipe with you. 

These are so simple to make with only 6 ingredients, so if you’re looking for something quick and tasty these are the bake for you. Even better – they’re super low kcal! I made 12, and they came out as 82 kcal, a perfect afternoon snack in my opinion.

Now let’s get to the ingredients, you will need:

  • 200g oats
  • 200g canned pumpkin
  • 50g maple syrup 
  • 4g granulated sweetener
  • 2 tbsp sugar free pumpkin syrup (or any other flavour of your choice) 
  • Cinnamon – add to personal taste, I like lots! 

To make these all you need to do is mix all ingredients in a bowl, no specific order. I then hand mixed it altogether rolled out and cut shapes out using cookie cutters! You can decorate either before or after baking, I decorated mine before.

 

 

 

Bake on gas mark 6 till golden brown. Check around 20 mins and see how they’re doing. They don’t take long at all.

Once done pull them out of the oven and if you didn’t previously decorate them, but don’t forget to let them cool first. 

Enjoy with a cuppa or even better a PSL!
