Cruelty Free Pecan Praline Soap – Review

There’s nothing better than jumping in a hot shower after a long day, washing off ready to start a fresh. What makes this experience 10x better is to have an all natural, cruelty free vegan soap to smother all over your body.

The lovely Sophie over at The Oxenden Soap House messaged me, saying she’d created a fresh batch of soaps and would I like to try one? Well of course I snapped up the opportunity. She has a great selection of scents to choose from, I went for Pecan Praline-I’m such a sucker for a sweet odour.

When my little parcel arrived, I was so blown away at the effort that had gone into this little bar. All wrapped in paper/cardboard, even sat on a little bed of paper shredding’s-making it completely recyclable. Thank the lord, no plastic in sight!

The bar is made of skin friendly ingredients, the Pecan Praline specifically contains mositurising ingredients such coconut oil and cocoa butter. I must mention it’s also made from sustainable palm-oil, making it certified Orangutan friendly!

Once I got a whiff of this bar I was basically dribbling, like it smells edible. After resisting having a nibble on this beauty I decided I better use it for what it’s meant and have a wash.

The bar lathered up so easily, I can tell a little will go a long way. You also get quite a chunk of soap so I’m going to be using this for months to come!

My body felt so fresh, smooth and smelt amazing after. No complaints, this little bar is perfection. I’ll definitely be back for more of Sophie’s goodies!

This lovely soap was gifted to me, all opinions are my own.
