Surprise, I’m back for one more post. A Christmas treat for you! I can’t believe it’s all over. I’ve loved every minute of it, even the last minute dash to create some content. I’m so proud I managed it because mid November time I was far from ready!
Let’s end on a high, I wanna chat to you about my 2019 goals. So it’s getting to the time where we’re planning our New Year resolutions-personally I don’t set any, I just make mindful adjustments to my life. Last year I made a massive change and got fit. I joined the gym, dropped a couple of stone and I live a happy, healthy life. I’ve never been so active, I didn’t think I’d ever be a ‘fitness freak’ but here I am, well and truly addicted!
Since mid October I began training for my first half marathon. In February I plan to complete the Brighton half! I’ve never classed myself as a runner but this is a proper mental challenge. Physically I think I can do it but I just need to work on my stamina and getting myself to the right place. I’d like to be more mindful.
So I’ve decided I’m going veggie and in the New Year I’ll be doing Veganuary! I’m hoping to adapt my current lifestyle so that I make better choice and go a bit more cruelty free. I feel this will be a slow process but I’m so keen to make a difference. This means that January blog content is going to be heavily themed around cruelty free, I can’t wait to get writing.
Taking up yoga has been a longing of mine. I constantly think about it but for some reason I’ve never just bit the bullet. I’ve signed up to a 30 day yoga challenge starting on the 1st. I feel this is the perfect opportunity for me to just go for it and work on bettering my fitness in a different way.
This last one is a bit of a materialistic gain but I want it to up my blogging game. Currently I’m using an ancient dell laptop. I think I’ve had it since I was 10, I’m now 21…. I’d really like to upgrade it. Currently all my blogging occurs on my phone but I’d love a lightweight laptop I could pop in my bag and take to a coffee shop.
I’m off for a well deserved break, see you in the New Year!
